This is a superb Charles Meigh blue & white parian jug or pitcher with the intricate decoration of the classical figures and other with the decorative pewter lid of which:
During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the mid 19th century.
Dates about c1850s.
Has the Charles Meigh mark and english registration mark underneath which confirms the date.
Parian. Blue & white in colour.
The item has not been cleaned at is as found it is in nice condition with no chips or cracks and I’ve never seen a lid is in as good condition as this one
