    Description

    Wallis Gimson & Co THE WORLD plate. Cartouches have "Rhine Bridge and Palace" and "Staircase of the Bruhl Terrace Dresden". This round Victorian Aesthetic movement style plate measures 9" across. Condition is fair. Has edge roughness, two hairline cracks, and overall darkening/discoloration. The Wallis Gimson & Co factory closed in 1890. This is a rather rare example of the decorated English pottery they produced.
